Seriously?...I Mean, Really?

Are you kidding me? What has happened to the good ol' hockey game? After watching the replays of the atrocity that was the Pittsburgh Penguins versus the New York Islanders, I feel sick. It was practically war on ice. Yes I know the play offs are quickly approaching, and the race is on, but there is absolutely no excuse for the behaviour shown by these two teams. What has happened to sportsmenship? I can not even illustrate how many fights occured durring those eighty minutes. To be exact there were 65 penalties that totaled 346 minutes and including 10 ejections. There were 15 fighting majors and 20 misconducts in the game that set records for both teams for most combined penalty minutes and left few players around to finish it. I honestly do not think in my years of being an avid hockey watcher that I have ever seen something like this. Words do not even give this even justice; however, a video does:

  1. I completely agree! That guy who sucker punched Max Talobt was the worst. Good thing he got suspended!
